The cold breeze bites at your rosy cheeks.
You wrap your scarf tighter around your neck to conceal it and continue walking. Your feet crunch through frosty leaves and precariously tip toe over patches of black ice; winter is just around the corner.
You suddenly feel a hand on your shoulder. As you turn you are struck with so many questions: “Who is this?”, “What do they want?”, “Why didn’t I find time to watch any YouTube videos this week?”.
You turn. There is a large man with a fluffy, white beard smiling at you. He hands you a tablet and you look down to see TENEIGHTY’S WEEKLY ROUND-UP, YOU LUCKY THING!
The man was Santa Claus, did you get it? Basically, we’re excited because it’s November and NEARLY CHRISTMAS OMG.
Here’s some videos:
Introducing Tim – Khyan
Khyan Mansley is nothing short of a wizard when it comes to content. (And, if we’re honest we’re pretty sure he’s just a straight up wizard anyway.)
In his latest offering, Khyan gives us a life update to rival all other update videos you’ve seen. We meet his new housemate Tim, we find out about his latest writing project and we find out just how soft his skin is.
Hello Tim.
Don’t be a stranger, Khyan – we think you’re marvelous. Or ‘marvy’ as the kids are saying. (Are they?)
Calling People Out | KhanStopMe – KhanStopMe
We really Khan-not stop Taha Khan. Especially when it comes to making GREAT VIDEOS!!1one! *air horn* (Was that ‘meme’ enough for you, Taha?)
Here at TenEighty HQ we love it when people talk about serious issues and we love it even more when they manage to make the video entertaining and funny at the same time.
Taha talks about calling people out on problematic behaviour. Is it a good idea? How should we go about it? Is it okay to use comic sans in a video? (The answer to the third question is yes, according to this video.)
Poignant views, an engaging manner of speaking and lightning wit from a YouTuber whose name is…
JOHN CENA.
#Credence Official International Trailer (2015) – LGBT Sci-Fi – Mike Buonaiuto
HELL YES, Mike Buonaiuto.
Non-prejudiced representation of gay lives? Hell yes.
Sci-Fi? Hell yes.
The two mixed together with a cherry of lovely cinematography on top? HELL. YES.
The trailer for IndieGoGo funded film Credence was released this week and we were pretty blown away by it if we’re honest.
We urge you to go and give it a watch, we won’t say much more on it.
Underrated Youtubers (ft. Mandeville Sisters) – Casual Steven
Oh, Steven Bridges, you lovely, lovely human being.
Joined by the ever-so-sweet Grace and Amelia Mandeville (of Mandeville sisters #fame) he discusses some YouTubers he considers to be underrated for his second channel Casual Steven.
We ADORE seeing YouTubers supporting each other and showing their love.
THE YOUTUBE COMMUNITY IS ALIVE AND WELL AND THAT MAKES US SO HAPPY WE’RE NOT CRYING WE NEVER CRY WHO SAID CRYING WE DIDN’T SHUT UP MUM.
Steven was also featured in our Five More of The Best: Halloween article last week and you can check that out right here.
SHOOT ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AWAY – TomSka
Okay, first of all, we don’t condone the use of guns to solve your problems. You know, unless your kid is having ANOTHER BIRTHDAY. So inconsiderate.
Tom Ridgewell brings us a RIDICULOUSLY catchy and hilarious musical number that will BLOW you away. (See that? That was a- a joke… Never mind).
Joined by quite a few familiar faces, Tom sings and raps (we know, right) about the simple pleasure of shooting things when life gets you down.
Tom never disappoints with his content and this video is no exception. SHOOT on over to his channel and watch the video if you’re feeling a little down on your luck. (Did you get it this time?)
AND THAT IS THAT. Or is it…
Okay, you can have just a couple more for being such a cutie Mcbooty.
Finley John and Christy Meape of Mrmeapzy uploaded another new and brilliantly odd video this week. Not had enough weird? You’ve come to the right place.
The ever-adorable Carrie Hope Fletcher uploaded a cover of Bare Necessities that made our hearts swell.
And finally, on a one-take to rival Birdman, Benedict from Cup of Team talked about his new project. Check that out here.
