The YouTuber is the winner of this year’s Best British Vlogger at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.
Joe Sugg was nominated alongside Alfie Deyes, Emma Blackery, Daniel Middleton and sister, Zoe Sugg. Characteristically, the award received the highest number of public votes of all the awards in the show this year, as well as the highest engagement on Twitter, with fans showing support for their chosen nominee.

The award was presented by Dan Howell and Phil Lester at Radio 1, alongside recordings of fellow YouTubers Tyler Oakley, Caspar Lee, Emma, Jim Chapman and Zoe, who won the award in 2014. Dan and Phil referred to the line-up as the “Vlogging Avengers”.
Joe is currently in Australia with Caspar promoting their new film, Joe and Caspar Hit The Road, and awoke to the news that he’d won the award, tweeting:
