The impressionist has teamed up with E4 for his very own prank show, Scheiffer Bates: I Con.
After launching his YouTube channel in 2011, Scheiffer has gained over four million views and nearly 50,000 subscribers with his impressions, and now has the opportunity to work with E4 on his own prank show. His channel shows him doing impressions from television programmes, such as Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, a skill which he will be using to prank the unsuspecting public in the show.
This isn’t the first time Scheiffer has had his impressions featured on TV, as earlier this year, he was shown alongside other impressionists on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
E4, who have produced programmes like Rude Tube, Made In Chelsea and Virtually Famous, are now working with Scheiffer on creating the 30-minute pilot for the show, with Emma Hardy, a representative of the production company, stating:
“Scheiffer has an incredible talent and we can’t wait to unleash him and his unbelievable ‘celebrity’ pranks on the great British public.”
