That’s right, it’s Halloween! Everything’s turned spoopy, the skeleton war rages on, you’re fit to burst from all that candy and your great idea for a costume hasn’t quite turned out as well as you thought it would in practice (it happens to us all). Your fav YouTubers are all getting in the spirit (geddit?) too, bringing treats (and a trick) to your computer screens.
Last year we brought you five of our favourite Halloween videos, but we couldn’t rest on our laurels and not give you more this year. So without further ado, here are five more of the best Halloween vids out there!
5. No Carve Pumpkin FAIL!! :( | Sprinkleofglitter
Want to decorate your house with pumpkins for Halloween? Definitely don’t follow Louise Pentland’s advice! Usually a goddess of arts and crafts, this video sees Louise lose her powers for a day and manage like the rest of us mortals, sort of like if that bit in Disney’s Hercules was set in Hobbycraft. Glitter going everywhere? Check. Glue gun injuries? Check. Everything just going a bit wrong? Check. And it was all supposed to be so simple having removed carving from the equation!
This tutorial is so bad it’s brilliant. Louise’s reactions had us laughing throughout, and as she says, this video will still teach you an important lesson that things will go wrong in life no matter your plans. Don’t worry though Louise, if anything this video just makes us love you more!
4. LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN MAKEUP IDEAS | Niki and Sammy
After Louise’s failures, maybe Niki and Sammy Albon can successfully execute some quality Halloween design?

Oh dear, maybe not. In this hilarious video the twins show you how to achieve two last-minute Halloween looks using supplies from the pound shop (mainly lipstick as far as we can tell). Highlights include: Niki complaining over and over again about not being able to see properly because of the fake lashes, Sammy attempting to contour with cheap lipstick (what would RuPaul say?!), and Niki’s awful (by which we mean BRILLIANT) pun. Never change boys.
3. Sexy Torture Chamber | Hazel Hayes
What do you get when you put Hazel Hayes, Dean Dobbs and Halloween together? A super awesome and super funny torture chamber sketch of course! Sexual innuendos, a little bit of blood and gore, and a cameo from Jack Howard at the end, what more could you possibly want?
There isn’t much else to say about this video except WATCH IT! WATCH IT THIS INSTANT! GO! PRESS PLAY NOW! Your Halloween will be all the better for it.
2. The Most Dangerous Trick I Have Ever Performed… | Steven Bridges
It’s not Halloween without a little magic, right? We were on the edge of our seats watching as Steven Bridges took it up a notch from your average magic video with this decidedly dangerous trick. We didn’t know that eating biscuits could ever be quite so extreme, but Steven proved us wrong. You could cut the tension with a (small craft) knife.
Kudos to Savannah Brown for sitting there and choosing the last biscuit, we would have probably let out a little scream and ran out the room. Heck, we did that sitting on this side of the screen!
1. Dark Evil Pixie | Halloween Makeup Tutorial | Cherry Wallis
Now this is more like how a Halloween makeup tutorial should be done. Congratulations Cherry Wallis, you’ve saved Halloween! We adore this super creative look and almost can’t believe Cherry just made it up as she went along (maybe that’s the secret to success), the girl’s got talent.
We tried to recreate it here at TenEighty HQ and ended up looking more Uncle Fester than Dark Evil Pixie. Guess we’ll just have to rely on our zombie schoolgirl attire again. (Yes we’re basic, we know.)
And so we sadly reach our spoopy quota…
