And weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Will allllwayyys love Yoooooooou(Tube). Don’t act like you weren’t singing along there.
Another week has passed us by and another influx of wonderful videos has been created on this crazy little (okay, HUGE) website called YouTube.
We’ve found our favourites and we’re here to put them on a spoon and make aeroplane noises just for you. Let’s do it! Neoooooooooooowm!
Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 5 – Don’t Hug Me .I’m Scared
Funnily enough, we didn’t plan ending our introductory paragraph on a food bent to coincide with the new release from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared creators Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling, but doesn’t it seem so perfect?
Our favourite horror/comedy/musical show returned with its fifth episode this week (and it’s even creepier than the previous 4!). It’s rather hard to explain what Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared is to those of you who aren’t aware, but we think that the comments section says it all:
“OMG WHAT IS THIS?!?”
“i don’t get it wat eeeh, ://”
“The yolk of my eyes turned white as I watched this!”
And finally, our favourite:
“So are these videos suppose to make sense? Or be completely nonsensical to leave people to look for a message that may or may not be there?”
Excited? Nervous? Go and give it a watch to see what all the fuss is about.
(Also, Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared was our letter ‘D’ in our Alternative YouTube A-Z which you can read here.)
Joe & Caspar Hit The Road Trailer – BBCWorldwide
ZOMG. Z. O. M. G.
IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY SEEN THIS WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOURSELVES?!
Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee‘s new film Joe & Caspar Hit the Road is coming SO soon and this is our first delicious TEASE of a taste.
As the boys travel across Europe in a camper van, they attempt to find as much work experience as they can to be able to afford things like various European candies to eat on camera, and magnets to stick to the van.
We’re RIDICULOUSLY excited, mostly for the fact that Joe doesn’t seem to stop screaming and/or making cow noises?! Or, at least we think it was a cow noise, we may be mistaken. Do let us know, Joe.
If you manage to not end up on the hype train; we’ll happily give you a ticket (WE’VE BOUGHT HUNDREDS).
Draw With Me #Inktober | XANTHE – XANTHE
Xanthe Simmans (pronounced Zan-thee if you’re wondering) comes to us this week with her contribution to #Inktober. (Don’t worry; Xanthe explains what this is for those of you who don’t already know.)
In this video, we watch Xanthe draws Marilyn Monroe in ink. It turns out SUPER COOL and, while we get infinitely jealous of people who can create lovely things like it, we are, of course not at all bitter.
Also – at the bottom of the description box we found a little note:
“Thanks for scrolling all the way down to here.
I hope you’re having a lovely day :)
X”
HOW CUTE IS THAT?! GOLLY GOSH.
Sunset Chasing | TeleboxTori – TeleboxTori
Now, we here at TenEighty HQ cannot get ENOUGH of a good montage. In fact, we have to set aside the entirety of September to properly enjoy all of the SitC ones.
And this week the lovely Tori uploaded her own montage video of her chasing a sunset. (Tell you what, we’re ecstatic that you caught it – imagine how awkward it would’ve been if you’d missed!)
Lovely shots, a lovely sunset and a lovely YouTuber all combine to create a lovely video. Lovely.
Bry vs Mazzi Maz! NEXT LINES – BBC Radio 1
Okay, so Mazzi, let’s just start by talking about how you’ve managed to get your hat to stay so perfectly still?! We’ve tried many hats here at TenEighty HQ and NONE will stay atop our heads for more than 5 minutes.
Bry and Mazzi Maz Listhrop join Benjamin Cook for a quick-fire game where they have to finish off lyrics in exchange for glory and riches (or something along those lines).
WHO WILL WIN IN THIS BATTLE OF THE CENTURY? BRY OR MAZ? CHECK OUT THE VIDEO TO FIND OUT. (We typed this in a deep voice, did it come across?)
So, that’s a wrap! Although…
We just found a couple more videos in our pockets! You might as well have those too you lucky lot.
Our favourite long-limbed Jon Aitken uploaded a video that is so unbelievably meta we’re not sure what’s real anymore. What is YouTube? What is life? WHAT IS GOING ON?
Chloe Dungate uploaded an extremely honest and touching video this week about her feeling as though she’s ‘stalled’ creatively. Give that a watch and send her lovely vibes.
So, that’s the week rounded up! Did we miss anything? Lets us know what you would’ve put in the weekly round-up on Twitter @TenEightyUK or on Facebook: TenEightyUK.
