Along with a new look, the iOS app now allows users to edit videos.
Google has updated the YouTube app for Apple iOS products. The update features a new look that allows users to access a variety of features without leaving the homepage. On the main page, one can find recommended videos based on their past viewing history. Subscriptions can be found by swiping left once. By swiping left again, users are taken to their own YouTube channel.
The update has also added an editing feature to the app, which allows users to edit and upload videos without having to utilize outside apps. With it, videos can be spliced, and music and filters can be added with ease.
As of right now, the update is only available for iOS devices. However, Google has plans to roll it out to Android phones and tablets at a later date.
