Hot on the heels of the announcement of their upcoming DVD release, the pair have launched their own production company.
The production company will be launched in partnership with Dom Smales, Managing Director of Gleam Futures, with Joe and Caspar Hit The Road being its first project. The film was done in partnership with BBC Worldwide, and has already broken Amazon’s record for the most number of pre-orders of a title on its first day.
Raucous Productions aims to produce content for both on and off YouTube. Talking to Broadcast, Smales said: “This is a first step, but represents a line in the sand. It’s part of our commitment to partner with our talent to help them make original IP”.
Speaking to TenEighty, Joe said: “I feel very lucky to have be given the opportunity to create great, exciting new content on a bigger scale with one of my best friends, Caspar.”
Joe and Caspar Hit The Road is set for release on 23 November. Those wishing to pre-order the film can do so via Amazon.
