The YouTuber will be presenting a weekly show on Fubar Radio.
Titled The Jaack Maate Show, the show will be hosted by Jack and Tom Norris, and will air Fridays from 16.00-18.00 GMT.
Speaking with TenEighty about how the show came to be, Jack says: “The show came about after Will, one of the producers at the station, convinced the big bosses that I’d be able to create an entertaining show. After he persuaded them to give me a pilot, he contacted me and, of course, I was all for it! Now, he’s a good bud and I’ve incorporated [him] into the show.
“I’ve always wanted to be involved in radio, but never really had the in-roads,” he continues. “The Internet Takeover on Radio 1 obviously always looked appealing, but after Fubar reached out, I genuinely couldn’t think of a better station to work with. At Fubar, we’re uncensored, unregulated, yet a national radio, so it couldn’t fit my style better if it tried.”
According to Jack, listeners can expect Tom and him to be “playing silly games, ranting live, talking about ridiculous stories and interacting with [fans] on Twitter and Facebook”. The pair will also be bringing guests on the show, with the debut episode seeing Arron Crascall making an appearance.
Jack is one of many to join Fubar’s line-up, with actress Lucy Porter and rapper/actor Doc Brown also hosting weekly shows through the station. Those wishing to tune into The Jaack Maate Show can do so via Fubar’s website or by downloading the station’s app.
