The vloggers are amongst many UK-based YouTubers nominated this year.
The nominees for the fifth annual VH1 Streamy Awards have been announced and they include a host of UK-based YouTubers. Celebrating everything from gaming to education, the awards show is one of many examples of mainstream media celebrating the accomplishments of those who create online and digital content.
The nominees for this year’s awards include:
- Felix Kjellberg for First Person and Gaming Channel
- Jack Howard & Dean Dobbs for International Channel
- Sorted Food for Food
- Michael Stevens for Science or Education and Editing
Other nominees include Tyler Oakley, Rhett & Link, Miranda Sings and Joey Graceffa.
The show will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in California on 17 September at 22.00 EST, or 18 September at 03.00 BST for those living in the UK. Last year’s show was hosted by Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart and saw the likes of Jenna Marbles and Bethany Mota taking home awards.
