It’s August already?!
Time is moving so quickly. Now it’s August and soon it’ll be SepTEMBER AND TIME WILL CONTINUE TO GO FASTER AND FASTER UNTIL THE END OF ALL THINGS- sorry, we got a little carried away there.
It’s been an awesome start to August with all of you lovely lot pouring magnificent content out of your video spouts. (Sorry again.)
Here are some of our favourites…
The Purrluccios: Cat Mafia | TenThousandHawks – TenThousandHawks
Cats. They’re all over the internet and we can’t get enough of ’em.
Cardboard. Who DOESN’T love the infinite fun possibilities that come with a good old cardboard box?
Jake Pemberton has done the unimaginable and brought these two joyous items together in a whirlwind of jokes, fantastic accents and, uh – peanuts.
If you’re not sold already, we don’t know what will convince you to give this hilarious sketch a click.
VIDCON 2015 SUCKED – matthewgilpincom
Matthew Gilpin went to Vidcon and thinks it just plain sucked. Maybe he could’ve given us his ticket then…
In his newest offering, Matthew talks about his experiences at Vidcon this year with super-cool-amazing-radical cameos from well – everyone, frankly.
Give this a click if you’re not bitter at ALL ABOUT NOT GOING TO VIDCON.
By the way, we wrote about the 29 things we learned from living vicariously through the internet at Vidcon. You can check that out here.
Away From Home – radhaggis
Not content to just film feet walking through gorgeous scenery, our favourite Doc Brown-haired ‘tuber Ewan McIntosh took us on a thought-provoking little walk with him on his trip to Portugal. (Again, we’re not bitter. We just hope it rained a lot.)
Ewan gets exceptionally deep and profound in this unscripted vlog and talks about internet culture, stylised thinking and removing yourself from the internet.
We type this while looking longingly outside at how sunny and clear blue the sky is…. Okay, that’s enough nature, back to catching up with FunForLouis.
WHAT’S IN MY BIN?! – jonbehere
This week our beloved Jon Aitken threw enough shade to cover the entire of the Southern Hemisphere and we LOVED it.
In his latest #sassy #relatable video, Jon talks us through what he has in his bin. He also get to see how gorgeous his ears look with back lighting (careful, you may get a little hot under the collar.)
Go and press play if you enjoy shady jokes, grayscale musical interludes and extraordinary chickens.
Keep your eyes on the cards… – StevenBridges
YouTube’s very own answer to David Blaine, Mr. Steven Bridges is back to get you screaming at your laptop screens at 3 o’clock in the afternoon yet again.
Steven performs a wicked card trick that has us at TenEighty HQ completely and utterly baffled. We have in no way spent our week trying to re-create it and we CERTAINLY haven’t been failing, either.
If you like wizardry and a cheeky, smiley chap then Steven Bridges is your smiley-wizard guy. Give him a watch – and while you’re at it see if you can watch ANY of his videos without getting confused, shocked or furious at your lack of magical abilities.
We might have some more in the back, let us just check…
Emma Beale talked about her experiences at Girlcon this week and reflected on the panels, relationships and the interesting topics brought up while there. Give it a watch with your eye-balls.
Joel Blundell also made a cute little ditty in response to Dodie Clark‘s first VEDA video and we think it’s rather funny. Give that a click if you’re feeling cheeky. #LADS.
Girl with the greatest name ever Ania Magliano-Wright also made a funny and entertaining video based on an excerpt from her diary this week. People watching, peach jam and sun tan lotion await you in this lovely video.
Now, obviously we do our best to keep an eye out for those juicy, ripe video fruits, but we’re not perfect. (I know, shocker!) So, if you think we missed any videos out this week, why not tweet us @TenEightyUK, or find us on Facebook and drop us a lineo at TenEightyUK.
