Fiiine, we’ll tear ourselves away from the TV screen…
Okay, it’s times like this when we need to be honest with each other. Don’t get us wrong, we champion YouTubers and watch more videos than anyone – but Orange Is The New Black is just so good. *lesigh*
Don’t worry though, we’ve rounded up the very best videos from this week – so pause Netflix, take a look and then you can get back to Litchfield Penitentiary. Here’s our Weekly Round-Up.
Outfits of The Week: Unemployed Edition – Nikola in the Pond
A busy week requires a strict fashion schedule (which we’re sure you’re all aware, you stylish humans, you) so Nikola Mcmurtrie has shared her’s with the YouTubeiverse. This funny, clever parody video contains fashion tips and general life advice for the FUNemployed among us.
Plus, she eats Nutella with such an empowering conviction; which is more than enough to impress us here at TenEighty HQ.
Flying Legumes – HorwoodTV
Liam Neeson, eat your heart out.
Brothers Jake & Callum Horwood have exploded onto our screens with this blockbuster (probably) smash. It has a remote controlled helicopter in it and if that isn’t reason enough to watch then, well, we don’t know what is.
Plus, if it helps – Jake, we’d never eat your cereal.
An Apologetic Present | thisbedottie – Thisbedottie
The adorable Dottie James hadn’t graced us with a new video in a couple of weeks, so she’s making it up to us she by getting all of us a gift (we were hoping for a trip to the Bahamas, but what can you do).
In her softly spoken, poetic manner Dottie lulls us into a peaceful, tranquil state before bequeathing to us a much sought after gift (yes, we did just use bequeathing – who said we can’t be fancy)…
To Be Honest – NotJustBlonde
Zannah (how cool is her name?!) gets pretty real with us, folks. She comes to us in two week old pyjamas, unbrushed hair and even decided not to brush her teeth before filming. Either way, we think she looks just lovely.
Zannah opens up about her feelings of stress and its effect on her content creation. Her candid manner of speaking and witty mouth-words make this video interesting, amusing and engaging. You go, girl.
ANNOYING THINGS TEACHERS DO | TeaMakerJason – TeaMakerJason
Resident tea maker and vlogger Jason Fisher comes to us with a majorly #relatable video about all those things teachers do that get on our last nerve.
We’ve all been there: sat in a classroom waiting for one of your chums to answer the question you clearly have no idea of the answer to – but then the teacher locks eyes with yours and you’re forced to have to guess or admit defeat and you’re left MORTALLY EMBARRASSED AND SCARRED – *ahem* we’re not bitter at all…
Jason gets caught by his neighbour while filming this video, which provides even more #relatable #banter. So give it a watch if you fancy a giggle.
Want another slice of the pie?
James Hill and Charlie McDonnell‘s new daily breakfast show Cereal Time is well under way and we’re thoroughly enjoying sitting with some luke-warm porridge and going to town on some high quality Jimmy and Charlie action. One of our personal favourites involved creating a back-story for made-up superheroes. We caught up with the dynamic duo about their new show and you can read that here.
Adam Ashford also uploaded a little ditty about the London train system this week and we think it’s pretty darn lovely. London, trains and a ukulele?! How can you say no? You can’t.
