The travel vlogger has joined Seeker, a travel network belonging to Discovery, and announced plans for a new project which will see him fly to 22 different countries.
Louis Cole has announced he is working with Discovery Communications, home of the Discovery Channel. Discovery will become his YouTube network via their digital platform Seeker, an online travel network which is part of the Discovery Digital Network.
The deal with the company was announced as part of Discovery’s Digital Content ‘NewFronts’ press conference in New York last week.
Other content creators currently on Seeker include US vlogger Trucker Josh, who is currently creating a series going across the states in an 18-wheeler truck and Laura Ling, an American journalist who became famous after being detained in North Korea for filming there in 2009.
As part of the NewFronts showcase, Louis also announced his plans for a new series with his co-pilot friend JP in early 2016. Provisionally titled ‘Flying The Globe’, the project will see Louis document flights across 22 different countries. In preparation for this, Louis is also going to be learning how to fly the plane.
