We tried to make that rhyme – honestly…
We are used to seeing Alfie Deyes‘ cheeky chops all over our laptop screens – but taking the world by storm, Alfredo is appearing in a variety of different places. So we’ve put together 9 places you just couldn’t have predicted Mr Deyes appearing…
1. ITV1’s This Morning
Alfie was interviewed on the show earlier this week about his online success. Now, we don’t know about you – but we never thought we’d see Phillip Schofield take part in the blind make-up challenge. Who better than PointlessBlog himself to take the reigns? Clearly Zoe’s been teaching you well, Alf. Great technique.

2. The Sunday Times Best Seller List
Yes, that’s right – both of our Alfie’s books: The Pointless Book and The Pointless Book 2 are in the top selling list according to The Sunday Times. Clearly not as pointless as you’d thought, Alfie! Perhaps a change of title would be apt for the third instalment… how about The Particularly Useful Book?
We got a bunch of YouTubers together to review The Pointless Book – it’s worth a read.

3. BBC Radio 1
Not only did Alfie host a whole show on Radio 1 with his best bud Marky Butt Butt, he recently popped up on the Matt Edmondson show. During the show Alfie “planked all over” host Matt Edmondson. If that hasn’t got you hot under the collar, we don’t know what will.

4. Headlining Glastonbury
What with the backlash in response to Kanye West headlining this year’s Glastonbury festival, rumours have since surfaced that he will be replaced by our Alfie. With the full line-up not having been fully revealed yet, there is always room for The Pointless Single and A Hard Deyes’ Night to bring the excitement back to Glastonbury fest. (Note: We may have made this one up. Quite possibly.)

5. Band Aid 30
In the re-vamp of the classic Do they know it’s Christmas? single, girlfriend Zoe Sugg took Alfie and her brother Joe along to help the charity raise awareness of the Ebola crisis. No, we’re not crying… it’s just allergies, okay? *so selfless* AND he breathed the same air as Harry Styles. He’s living the dream.

6. Guinness World Records Online
For the Guinness World Records OMG channel Alfredo teamed up once again with Marcus Butler to break the world record for (rather violently) shoving as many bangles as possible onto the lovely Laura Bubble‘s wrists in 30 seconds. We’ll just braceLET the video do the talking for this one…
7. Top 20 Most Influential Media Figures Under 30
Alfie was featured in Birmingham City University’s Top 20 Most Influential Media Figures list last year, alongside a whole bunch of other recognisable names in the YouTube and online media world. Among them was Sean Rad, Founder and CEO of Tinder. Imagine those two making a collab – chubby bunny challenge? We’d swipe right for that.

8. On a Magazine Cover
That’s right! We <3 Pop magazine has run an entire issue on our dearest Alfie. The Pointless Blog Takeover even comes with 58 stickers! (That’s not even enough to decorate our diary, tbh). But it also has some free cola sweets. So we’re sold, that’s for sure.

9. The General Election
In the lead up to the General Election in Britain this May, we’ve heard whispers that Alfie is planning to set up a new political party The Pointless Party. With all-inclusive policies and a manifesto with an in-built app feature, we are excited for what’s to come. (Note: Okay, we MIGHT have made this one up too. But look at the great poster we came up with!)

There’s literally no telling where Alfie will pop up next. Don’t worry, though, we’ll keep you in the loop. Promise.
