The boys are set to release The Amazing Book is Not On Fire later this year, and are also heading out on the road to play a run of shows across the UK.
Dan Howell & Phil Lester have announced the worldwide release of their book The Amazing Book is Not On Fire on 8 October of this year. Speaking in a video about the announcement, Phil says: “We decided to make a Dan and Phil book, not just black and white words, but a huge, colourful written and illustrated, epic enchiridion representing everything about us and what we’ve made together.”
Dan adds: “We wanted to make something physical, something real that you can have and hold and to remind you of all these good times [we’ve had together] and to prove that once there were these two guys called Dan and Phil who met each other on the internet and created this entire world.”
The book is available to pre-order in the UK now from Amazon where its description reads: “We invite you on a journey inside our minds! From the stories of our actual births, to exploring Phil’s teenage diary and all the reasons why Dan’s a fail. Learn how to draw the perfect cat whiskers, get advice on what to do in an awkward situation and discover which of our dining chairs represents you emotionally. With everything from what we text each other, to the time we met One Direction and what really happened in Vegas…”

The boys have also announced a UK tour to coincide with the release of the book and will play eleven nights across the UK. Talking about the show, Dan says: “We decided it was time to put the best of everything we’ve ever done together into one insane, incredible Dan and Phil show that will be the best thing we have ever done, and take it on tour so we can see as many of you in real life as possible.”
“It’s not gonna just be microphones on a stage either, it’s gonna be crazy and interactive with a big budget,” adds Phil.
Tickets are available to order now, with a VIP option which provides a meet and greet, photo with the guys and access to VIP areas of the show.
