Yes, that WAS an Oprah Winfrey quote AND we’re sticking by it! The Style Slice is back for another week to curate all the latest from the How To & Style section of YouTube. We’re your essential guide to New Year looks, 2015’s must have products and we’ve even got something for the boys. So, let’s get cracking.
Style Diary: New Year’s Edition! – Fleur DeForce
This week Fleur DeForce brings us a whole week’s worth of New Year fashion in a lookbook themed style diary. Without a doubt, our favourite look is her magical New Year’s Eve outfit – complete with a braid and black suede sandals from Sophia Webster.
We also can’t ignore that Fleur is literally glowing in this video; looks like all that gym work and healthy eating is really paying off!
We’re kind of tempted to print out each look from the video, stick them to our wardrobe doors and be done with it – this collection is a cut above the rest. Now where did we put our Pritt Stick?

Let’s take a second to look back on 2014 as Lucy and Lydia take us through some of their must have beauty products from the year, as well as some hair, music and YouTube highlights.
We’re always happy to watch Lucy and Lydia at TenEighty HQ, their warmth and bubbly personalities leave us with smiles on our faces every time. In 2014 Favourites the twins recap some new discoveries, including the Airflash foundation by DIOR (in ‘100’) that caused a lot of conversation. We never quite mastered the spraying technique, so we’ll stick to good old brushes for now.
On the topic of brushes, Lucy and Lydia also give a quick mention to their favourite Nic’s Picks brush by the Real Techniques sisters. Woo, go YouTubers!
ONE OF THOSE DAYS! – Jim Chapman
You may or may not have heard – but YouTube favourite Jim Chapman has been voted as the best dressed man on the planet for 2015. Not even kidding. Jimbob topped GQ Magazine’s Best Dressed List, beating off the likes of One Direction and David Beckham, so we couldn’t help including him in The Style Slice. N’awwh.
One Of Those Days sees our Best Dressed male on a typical day at home in London. If you’re not into the daily vlogging stuff, skip to 3:22 (or click here) to see him chat about the amazing win.
We love the way he briefly slots in the news between exercising and fixing his broken dishwasher (it happens to the best of us). We’d be hyperventilating and taking a bajillion selfies if WE won Best Dressed… although let’s be honest, we already take a bajillion selfies. You get the point!
