Zoe Sugg has announced her debut novel under under the Penguin Children’s brand.
“Girl Online” is set for release as a hardback and e-book on 25 November 2014.
The book will focus around fictional character Penny who lives in Brighton and writes for an anonymous blog. It will cover issues from anxiety and cyber bullying to long distance online relationships and friendships.

The publisher acquired the world rights to the book in a two-book deal from Gleam Futures, meaning a second book will also be released in the future.
Zoe commented: “Social media is taking over but books, to me, are still so special and so important. Nothing beats the smell of an actual book”.
Penguin Children’s has sold the US and Canadian rights to Atria Books, which will publish both books under the Keywords Press brand.
